I had my talk show again last night. It went well -- lots of guests, and only one slow, boring part. That's pretty good. One of the guests emitted some mild curse words. My co-host was nervous, but I didn't care. Live radio, kids. At least he didn't drop an F-bomb.

One weird thing... the station gave away all our trips to the Bahamas in February. Commercials have been running naming me as one of the people going, since I'm such an amazingly famous celebrity and all. Well, one of the couples that won came to the show last night to check me out. That is so funny. They're engaged.

Bride-To-Be: "We're so happy, because we're getting married in June and we couldn't afford a honeymoon and now THIS will be our honeymoon!"

Me: "You know, the resort we're going to offers free weddings!"

Bride-To-Be (very, very grimly): "We saw that, damn it. If we hadn't already done all this planning and work..."

Oops.

Speaking of talk shows, I just emerged from the studio after recording the first segment of a brand-new talk show I'm doing. It'll be based on the news, and I was speaking to one of our state legislature members. We talked for almost an hour and a half. I've never been "on" that long before, but I did it. It's going to be an interesting show, too. (I hope!) When I burst out of the studio, I felt like I was hatching or something... the air seemed much fresher. That's just a long time to talk to someone I've only met a few times about stuff that maybe he doesn't particularly want to talk about. I don't think he hates me now, though.

STILL speaking of talk shows, I have to appear on one tonight, to promote that new show. Man. I'd just like to SHUT THE HELL UP for a minute, if that's not too much to ask.

P.S. As you forum people I'm sure have noticed, there's been some problems lately. It's slow, and not connecting fully. Well, EZ (ha!) Board is out with their explanation, and there's a link at the top of the forum. I can sum it up for you, though - They're blaming it on their ISP. Yeah, that's original.

So sorry, all you little Child Stars and Porn Stars and Dogstars and all the other Stars that hang out there. They promise it'll be fixed soon, so be patient and don't abandon it. It's too much damn fun.

In the meantime, I'm looking around. One of these days I'll spring for the fully-supported UBB, OK? OK.
